Today is the day to make a list of goals for the New Year. The fact that many will be fairly unconscious by 12:00 Am., should make it a little bit hard to be enthusiastic about starting your new goals for the year. If that's the case. Make your list now.
People tell me all of the time they admire my discipline. I find that hilarious. I used to be completely inconsistent. It wasn't until I committed to really wanting to change that I started to do what I didn't feel like doing, anyway. Such as working out, or meditating.
The key to changing your thinking is to go out of your comfort zone. No one gets rich, thin, enlightened or anything else, unless, they change their thinking about personal success. You have to be willing to take the chance to create a different life and this usually means facing your fears. The only reason why we don't have what we want, is because we haven't committed to taking the actions that bring the results we want.
Instead we stay in our same thinking patterns that create the same results over and over. Boring!
Make a lists of what you really want to do or change and look at it each morning. Vow to become that change and then do the actions necessary to create the results you want. Especially if you don't feel like doing it, Just do it. Get off the damn couch and go to the gym! Sit down and have dinner with your family. Go to Europe. Just do it!

Expand your horizons. Become uncomfortable and grow. When the thinking changes and you take action, it becomes a comfortable part of your life and you move closer to becoming the real you. You will succeed if you really want to. It's fun to feel your own power at work. Life's too short, Live it.
